As an homage to Pre-Columbian art, I created this piece by stitching together shapes reminiscent of graphics used in both ancient Mayan script and modern computer icons. I employ these shapes, which I call symbographs, to tell stories. The Pre-Columbian Apartments is an alien friendly place. They even added rooftop parking for their spaceships.
