Blue Rondo à la Turk is my second abstract inspired by music. I created a drawing on my computer tablet, printed it onto dupioni silk fabric, added a backing and batting, and then quilted it by hand. Can you see the swirling sound coming from Paul Desmond’s alto or feel Dave Brubeck’s 9/8 rhythm: 1-2, 1-2, 1-2, 1-2-3?
